School Library Month

Every April, the American Association of School Librarians encourages librarians to create
activities that demonstrate the value of strong school library programs. Support that effort with
school-branded bookmarks, pencils and reading award bracelets for students. Partnering with PTA members or school administrators could be the most efficient inĀ­ route to this business.

This is an excellent time to promote autism awareness, and acceptance, and bring attention to the tens of thousands that have a diagnosis in the autism spectrum. National Beer Day/April 7

This suds-soaked day celebrates the date in 1933 that it became legal for Americans to buy real
beer again following Prohibition. Bars, brewpubs and craft brewers could hold fun events and/or have beer releases. Help their patrons remember the good times with branded can coolers and keychain bottle poppers.

Record Store Day/April 15

Hundreds of record stores across the country will celebrate the creative culture of their shops with special events. Provide T-shirts, pins and hoodies.
